Apple has launched watchOS 6.1, a version that stands out mainly for providing support for the Apple Watch Series 1 and Series 2. Both models had been left out of the initial launch of the operating system in September, however, now the owners of these devices You can enjoy some news that includes watchOS 6, such as Calculator apps and Audiobooks.

Undoubtedly, the most outstanding novelty of watchOS 6 is the integration of the App Store dedicated to wearable, making it more independent of the iPhone. Of course, it is likely that some apps no longer have support for those older models, as developers are focusing their efforts on taking advantage of the latest device hardware.

Beyond adding compatibility to the mentioned watches, watchOS 6.1 also adds support for the AirPods Pro, the new wireless headphones introduced by Apple yesterday.
